SAE Institute (Singapore Campus) Announce 50% Scholarships to Aspiring Digital Journalists

Students who want to embark on a career in journalism now have an extra advantage: SAE Institute located in Singapore, has announced a competitive 50% scholarship for its 12 month Digital Journalism Diploma course.

But interested students must act fast as only the first ten students who applied for the course starting in Mar 2012 will be awarded. The scholarship waives half of the normal course fees and is available to all International students on the “First Applied First Get” basis.

General Manger of SAE Institute (Singapore Campus), Dennis Phee, says “Our exciting media journalism course is the first and only such accredited diploma available in Asia. To celebrate the one year anniversary of the inauguration of the course, we decided to offer a competitive scholarship that will help students of distinction to share their own voice with the world.”

To qualify for selection, students accepted onto the course must submit an essay of not more than 1,000 words that answers the question “SAE Institute should offer me a 50% scholarship because….” Essays should address the student’s interest in becoming a new media journalist.

Applicants must have good academic and professional records and demonstrate interest in Digital Journalism. There is no bond or obligation for the applicants who are awarded with the scholarships.
