DALLAS – Dallas lawyer Marcos G. Ronquillo, managing shareholder and Chief Operating Officer of Godwin Ronquillo PC, has been named one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the United States for 2011 by HispanicBusiness Magazine.

The national magazine recognized Mr. Ronquillo’s efforts to advance public education, public transportation and the arts, as well as his extensive accomplishments in the legal field.

HispanicBusiness described the Texas trial lawyer's achievements in its Oct. 18, 2011, edition, noting that, “Mr. Ronquillo represents governmental agencies, such as the Dallas Independent School District, as well as Fortune 500 companies in high-profile litigation where politics, media and social concerns collide in the courtroom.” The publication also cited Mr. Ronquillo’s contributions as a member of the boards for the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Children's Medical Center.

Mr. Ronquillo commented, “I am proud of my Hispanic heritage. He also was named by Texas Lawyer newspaper as one of the “Extraordinary Minorities in Texas Law.”
