Connect Financial Software Solutions is Selected by Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union for Online Banking Solution

Credit Union signs a multi-year agreement for Internet Banking, Mobile, Mobile Apps, extensive customization, and more.

Salt Lake City, UT, November 02, 2011 -- Connect Financial Software Solutions today announced a multi-year agreement with Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union. With more than 37,000 members and $295 million in assets, Johns Hopkins FCU selected Connect for its consumer suite of Internet Banking, and significant customization services. Connect’s online banking solution will be tailored to fit the Credit Union’s specific member and operating needs including adding significant third party integration customized features, and mobile applications.

Lynn Gregory, Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Member Services, at Johns Hopkins FCU said “Online banking is a critical delivery channel for us, considering our members often are geographically dispersed from our branch network. It is important to Johns Hopkins FCU, and our members, to be able to perform virtually all the same activities online that they can in the branch, some of which are not typically available in the online banking environment. After an extensive RFP process and review of providers, we selected Connect. We looked past all the flashy screens and extraneous add-ons for the enhanced functionality we sought. The Connect solution offers not only an extra level of integration to our host system, but also a team with a philosophy of trying to solve our business needs and our members’ online banking needs. Our goal was to allow our members to really manage their accounts and conduct activities that benefit them and us. Connect emerged as the partner who was able to work with the Johns Hopkins team to develop the unique and more advanced capabilities we were seeking, while also providing a superior base platform to work with. With this new partnership we expect to save money and increase efficiency, while improving our members’ experience. We are excited about taking advantage of all Connect offers now in their home banking solution, plus their willingness to add some unique functionality that is hard to find in the market but that will make both our members’ lives and our lives easier.”

According to Joe Long, Vice President of Connect, “Johns Hopkins FCU long ago embraced the online channel, and has driven innovation as they saw opportunities to improve their member experience and improve productivity. They were committed to looking for a technology partner that would allow them to continue to drive innovation without the constraints that are inherent in many other solutions. This eye to innovation will result in the development of advanced enhancements which will provide extensive member self-service options and improvement in Johns Hopkins overall ability to service members more efficiently. ”
