Despite Rumors Master Photographer Rodney Lough Jr. Will Lead Wilderness Workshops in Grand Teton National Park Next Year

Despite rumors that 2011 was the last year Master Landscape Photographer Rodney Lough Jr. would lead outdoor photography workshops, a 2012 schedule has been added to meet the spike in demand for the program.

Portland, OR, October 15, 2011 -- When rumors broke out that 2011 was the last year Master Photographer Rodney Lough Jr. would offer wilderness workshops - his fans, collectors and previous workshop participants were in an uproar. The overwhelming response and subsequent spike in demand has persuaded the artist to offer the popular program once more in 2012 and even expand location options.

During wilderness workshops the artist guides small groups deep into the remote American landscape and provides an intimate instructional experience designed to improve outdoor photography skills over the course of three days. All workshops offer participants the opportunity to advance their outdoor photography skills in a group setting with individualized instruction and constructive group critiques. Widely popular among amateur photographers and outdoor enthusiasts, enrollment is open to all skill levels but class size is limited and sessions fill up quickly. The Grand Teton National Park workshop takes place June 21st-24th, 2012. Nearby Yellowstone, Grand Teton is home to a vast array of magnificent scenery. Featuring over 46 miles of mountain peaks, alpine glacial lakes and wildflower-painted meadows, every viewpoint in this park is truly stunning. Workshop participant Simon Vessey traveled from London for the 2011 Grand Teton session earlier this year for what he called “an incredibly immersive experience against a backdrop of some truly spectacular mountain scenery.” Vessey went on to say:
