Tearlab Launches Website to Introduce Breakthrough Technology to French Audience: The First Device to Accurately Measure Dry Eye Severity
The website www.tearlab.fr has been launched to provide patients with information about the TearLab Osmolarity System, a state-of-the-art device that measures tear osmolarity, and thus, determines dry eye severity. The website contains general information about dry eye disease, and presents little-known facts for patients, such as the relationship between refractive surgery and dry eye, as well as contact lens wear and dry eye. Targeted at a francophone audience, the site is user-friendly and presents information in an accessible manner that can be easily understood.
The TearLab Osmolarity System is the only technology available to offer a fast, objective and accurate result. For the first time, doctors are able to monitor response to treatment based on a quantifiable result. Dr. Jerry Nolfi, a Toronto based optometrist, adds, "TearLab has improved our clinical perception of dry eye and has resulted in better managed treatment outcomes and happier patients."
The new website has been created in response to the ever-growing and inquisitive online patient community that is constantly looking for the latest medical developments to improve their quality of life.
