Strider Raises The Bar With New Toddler Balance Bike

Rapid City, SD (October 5, 2011) – Strider Sports International has sharpened their focus on the 18 to 36-Month-Old toddler with the new ST-3 balance bike model. Building on the worldwide success of the original Strider (over 200,000 sold to date), the new Strider ST-3 balance bike provides a much better fit for the young toddler, increasing both safety and enjoyment.

When it comes to bike riding and toddler enjoyment, weight and fit are critical. The goal of the ST-3 design was to improve the complete biking experience for toddlers worldwide. The bars and seat are now fully adjustable to accommodate the youngest Strider riders as they grow. No other bike on the planet gives toddlers a better introduction to all aspects of biking.

The Strider ST-3 features new custom Strider Ultra-Light Wheels which combine strong, lightweight wheels with the toddler-proven EVA polymer tire that never goes flat. The Strider is always ready to ride! The total assembled weight of the Strider ST-3 Balance Bike is 6.4 pounds.

Instead of using adult-sized grips, the Strider ST-3 features smaller diameter Mini-Grips and Handlebars that actually fit a toddler’s hands. The ST-3 also features the Strider Mini-Saddle sized for those little toddler hips!

The Strider ST-3 requires no tools for assembly thanks to the custom Strider quick-clamp adjustable seat and handlebars. It is ultra-convenient for parents to get the Strider seat down to the industry standard 11-inch seat height for their 18 month old, then adjust both the seat and handlebars as the toddler grows.

The ST-3 retains the Strider Sports-patented Launch-Pad Footrests and performance geometry. As with all Strider models, the ST-3 can be fitted with Strider Sports Extra-Long Seatpost and Saddle option for toddlers to continue to hone their bike skills up to age five and beyond.
