Addressing Coronavirus Concerns Ahead of AOTMP® 2020

INDIANAPOLIS (March 4, 2020) -- AOTMP®, a leading telecom, mobility, and IT management company, today announces that the AOTMP® 2020 Conference will take place as scheduled April 19-23 at the Airport Marriott Lakeside in Orlando, FL.

While we recognize concerns regarding coronavirus are growing, it's important to note that widespread misinformation across the news, social media, and enterprises across the US is inspiring rising levels of confusion and premature calls for event cancellation.

At this time, there are no federal restrictions in place to prevent events and travel within the US. As we continue to consult with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and all local public health authorities, AOTMP® - like anyone else hosting or attending a large-scale event - has received permission to continue with AOTMP® 2020 as originally planned.

That said, the coronavirus situation is rapidly evolving and we encourage all attendees, sponsors, and speakers to consult their trusted healthcare sources prior to the event. Based on the latest guidance from the CDC, here are the facts:

o Any travel restrictions that have been put in place on the advice of the CDC are specific to China.
o While the US State Department is advising travelers to 'exercise increased caution,' there have been no additional protocols or restrictions placed on citizens attending events inside the US.
o Health officials are recommending the same personal best practices that are standard for a typical flu season (e.g., frequent hand washing). The agency has not taken action to curb upcoming conferences, conventions, trade shows, or exhibitions like AOTMP® 2020 in the US in any capacity.

As anyone who has been to an AOTMP® Conference in the past can attest, this year's event brings incredible strategies, networking opportunities, and speakers together to benefit the telecom, mobility, and IT management industry - as well as the professionals that work within it.
