Edmund Olotu - Startup Founder of TechAdvance Ltd
Edmund brings a plethora of experience to the conference, having founded and financed several technology companies in Nigeria and the USA. Of these include Novira Therapeutics Inc. recently sold to Johnson and Johnson for $600 million, and his latest venture TechAdvance which received $1 million in funding to support its FinTech ambitions and expansion into emerging markets.
Edmund explains that one of the challenges facing high-growth organisations in Nigeria is the "inadequate access to intelligent finance that understands the life cycle of technology companies". AfroTech Global aims to overcome this challenge by connecting corporate and private investors and financial institutions interested in the Nigerian FinTech sector with these high-growth organisations.
