Dallas Attorney Amy LaValle Joins Skiermont Puckett LLP

The Dallas-based national law firm of Skiermont Puckett LLP is pleased to announce that Amy E. LaValle has joined the firm as Counsel.

Ms. LaValle is a registered patent attorney and focuses her practice on representing clients in patent cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor fabrication and packaging, computer hardware and software, and telecommunication devices and networks. She has represented clients in other types of complex commercial litigation matters, including copyright infringement, trademark infringement and antitrust cases involving patent issues.

“Amy has quickly built an impressive record in representing major corporate clients in patent infringement and antitrust litigation,” says the firm’s co-founder Donald Puckett. “Her experience, coupled with her commitment to client service and the innovative business model of our firm make her a great addition.”

Prior to joining Skiermont Puckett, Ms. LaValle was a senior associate with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Dallas and in New York, and previously worked as an associate in the Dallas office of Jones Day and the Dallas office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.

Ms. LaValle earned her law degree with honors from SMU’s Dedman School of Law in 2003 and her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 1999.
