SABIC reinforces local presence and customer support by appointing Country Leaders in Europe

Sittard, the Netherlands – 27 September 2011 – SABIC has appointed Country Leaders across Europe to ensure that customers take full advantage of SABIC’s global assets and local expertise. Recently, Dr. Konrad Hellmann was appointed as the Country Leader in Germany; this appointment is connected to our aim to establish a closer cooperation between SABIC’s business and sales operations in polyolefins (Polymers business) and engineering thermoplastics. The new structure will ensure a common approach that will be focused on supporting the needs of local markets and customers.

The appointment of Konrad Hellmann will ensure an even stronger local SABIC presence in Germany with a dedicated team focused on providing tailored customer service. By combining a deep understanding of local market challenges and a reliable supply of an extensive material portfolio, SABIC continues to be a strong partner who supports the ambitions of its customers.
