ICSA along with its lead consortium partner Dongfang bags LOA to establish country’s first SCADA/ DMS project under RAPDRP
Hyderabad, September 27, 2011: ICSA India Ltd, a Hyderabad based company along with its lead consortium partner Dongfang Electronics Company Ltd (Dongfang), China has bagged a LOA worth Rs.139.79 crores from Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TANGEDCO) for the establishment of SCADA/ DMS (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/ Distribution Management System )projects in 7 cities in the state under RAPDRP scheme.This is the first ever LOA awarded in India under the Government’s ambitious SCADA implementation program (under RAPDRP scheme) for establishment of SCADA / DMS projects aimed at reducing the AT&C losses.
Further, this LOA also assumes significance of being the first SCADA / DMS LOA bagged under the “Dongfang - ICSA” consortium which has been empanelled as SCADA / DMS Implementation Agency (SIA) by Power Finance Corporation.
