Vision Techniques launches Pointer Recording System for Quarrying and Mining vehicles

To save Quarrying and Mining companies money, the new ‘Pointer System’ monitors a driver’s performance, guaranteeing an increase in safety and efficiency.

The system assesses if the driver is performing economically and driving safely.

It ‘scores’ the acceleration and braking of a quarry or mining vehicle in order to rate driving performance – saving fuel and reducing potential accidents.

The innovative system also saves money by providing a video record of any accidents or incidents that may have taken place, preventing false and fraudulent claims.
