The white paper draws on extensive research conducted at RK Laboratory, led by Dr. Robert Ko, Professor in the Division of Life Science at HKUST. HKUST has climbed to 41st among research universities worldwide, according to the UK-based Times Higher Education rankings in 2010.

Dr. Ko’s research team recently published a study entitled, “Schisandrin B protects against solar irradiation-induced oxidative injury in BJ human fibroblasts” (Fitoterapia 2011).
