Tutors International announces retirement of founding partner David Spencer, twelve years after the private tuition company was formed

"David retired as a partner on September 1st, but will be engaged as a consultant as all of the processes he created and refined over the past twelve years are handed over," said Adam Caller, co-founder and senior partner of Tutors International. "Quite simply, Tutors International would not have developed into a global private tuition provider had it not been for David's extraordinary attention to detail and talent for navigating through legal complexities. David has made us the only private tuition provider in the world with proper contracts in place which meet all the constraints of international law, and that's all down to his sheer determination and dedication to getting everything established correctly, down to the tiniest detail."

When asked how David and Adam founded Tutors International together, Adam replied; "Twelve years ago I knew that I wanted to create Tutors International but I didn't have the capital required to do it properly. I was introduced to David as he was looking for businesses to invest in after he'd received a generous retirement package following a career in a large corporation. He had been given a lump sum which wasn't enough to retire on, but was enough to invest in a few small entrepreneurial businesses." Adam explained, "Luckily for me, David didn't just walk away but stayed on to become the Admin Manager looking after all the backroom stuff so I could concentrate on the clients and tutors."

"David announced his retirement at a recent soiree we organised for all current and previous tutors," Adam said, "and he was moved by the warmth and high regard the tutors gave him.
