The administration of an online shop can be expensive and complex. Especially small businesses, young entrepreneurs, startups, and private dealers cannot afford to hold and manage an online shop. Locanto Classifieds (www.locanto.com) developed a new widget that offers a solution to businesses and dealers to embed their product or service offers on their own website or blog. This allows small business owners or private dealers to expose their offers to a broader audience at no additional costs.
The widget can be accessed either at the “My Locanto” account system after logging in, or directly on the ad pages under the link “Embed ads”. The widget's design can be modified to adjust it to the own website's look and feel. The options are to change the size, colors, background, and font of the widget to allow an adjustment to the own website or corporate identity. An automatic code is then generated that only needs to be copied and pasted into the own website.

This encourages them to also add more content to Locanto, which offers prospective buyers a greater selection of classified ads on the site. In the next step, the widget will also allow users to embed all ads of a certain category on their website or blog.
