PJ Art Co. Hosts “Art for Animals” Fundraiser to Benefit Kent Animal Shelter
CENTEREACH, NY — On October 1, PJ Art Co. will host “Art for Animals,” an art show and wine tasting event that is being held to raise funds for Kent Animal Shelter in Riverhead. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.“Art for Animals” will feature pastels, watercolors, oil paintings and drawings from local artists that will be available for sale to the public. In addition, vendors and members of Help Us Help Kent, a youth organization raising money for the animal shelter, will be selling handmade crafts. All sales proceeds will go to Kent Animal Shelter.
Animals from the shelter will be available for adoption. There will also be a wine tasting in which those in attendance can sample different wines supplied by JP Wine & Liquor Store. All customers will receive special discounts on purchases that same day.
Admission is free. In the event of rain, the event will be scheduled for October 8.
