California College San Diego Establishes a New Satellite Campus in National City, California

San Diego, California, September 13, 2011 - Recognized for its high caliber of career-focused education, California College San Diego has worked to build an impressive reputation for itself over the past few years at its main campus in Mission Valley. The college has built upon its success by extending its facilities to yet another location; a new satellite campus in National City, in the South Bay area of San Diego.

The new National City satellite will offer healthcare, business, graphic design, and information technology degrees at the associate’s and bachelor’s levels. The initial campus build-out includes an impressive range of facilities and amenities, including campus-wide wireless Internet access, a medical laboratory, computer laboratory, a learning and resource center, student break and recreation area, and six fully equipped classrooms, plus space and scope for future expansion on the campus premises.

Currently approximately 50 percent of the students attending California College San Diego are South Bay residents. With the convenience of being able to attend the satellite campus, these residents will now be able to save on commuting time and costs, which will allow them to focus on their academic responsibilities.
