Raleigh Wealth Strategist to Chair Meals on Wheels Audit Committee

RALEIGH, N.C. (September 1, 2011) — W. Landon Watts, wealth strategist for Raleigh-based Banyan Rock & Talent (LandonWatts.com), has been elected chair of the Audit Committee for the Meals on Wheels of Wake County (WakeMOW.org) board of directors. He will serve a two-year term and help oversee the financial reporting and disclosure process for the organization.

“The expertise and energy that Landon brings to the Meals on Wheels board is immeasurable,” says Alan Winstead, executive director of Meals on Wheels of Wake County. “We are thankful to have him as part of our team.”

Watts has volunteered with the organization for 15 years, serving as a board member since 2008. He has also served several years as co-chair of the Fat Tuesday benefit, working closely with the fundraising committee in securing new partnerships and private contributions.
