IFA 2011: Market launch of the Linear SE – Sennheiser trusting in headphone amplifiers from Bergisch Gladbach

Bergisch Gladbach, September 2, 2011: At the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) in Berlin (September 2-7, 2011) audio specialist Sennheiser electronic is going to use several headphone amplifiers by Lehmannaudio from Bergisch Gladbach for demonstration purposes.

The Linear SE will debut in silver mat aluminium finish on Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Sennheiser booth (hall 3.2/135), where two units of the Linear’s next stage by Lehmannaudio will drive Sennheiser’s top models. The devices of the Linear series have already been a constant with presentations of audio specialist Sennheiser for several years, also proving to be very useful in the proprietary development labs of the renowned manufacturer.

The new Linear SE, equipped with Mundorf caps in its power supply and signal path as well as a gold-plated AHP microfuse, rests vibration neutral on custom-designed SSC feet. For the interior wiring we used products from the Japanese maker Mogami. Housings made of cool, satin mat aluminium in six homely, noble real wood veneer versions (designed by Guido Gutenstein) protect the superior Lehmannaudio technology and represent a high aesthetical added value. The Linear SE will be available at selected specialist dealers in Germany by the end of September 2011. International shipments will start two months later.
