Thermo Fisher Scientific to Exhibit Anatomical Pathology Solutions at European Congress of Pathology 2011
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced that it will be exhibiting at the 23rd European Congress of Pathology (ECP 2011) at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre, Helsinki, Finland, 27 August - 1 September. It will showcase its latest innovations for anatomical pathology applications under the theme “Innovations in Pathology” within stand 5A31, Hall 1During ECP 2011, Thermo Fisher will exhibit its Thermo Scientific STP 420ES tissue processor, Cryostar NX70 cryostat and SecureSette tissue embedding cassettes from its Anatomical Pathology range. These next-generation products enable reduced processing times, higher-quality preparations and leaner workflows.
Thermo Fisher will also be offering ECP 2011 delegates a chance to win an iPad 2 tablet. Visitors to the stand who attend a special demonstration of Thermo Scientific PrintMate and SlideMate will be entered to win the tablet. These products are the latest additions to Thermo Fisher’s slide labeling and tracking product ranges.
Thermo Fisher will also highlight its Immunohistochemistry (IHC) product line, including the Thermo Scientific Autostainer and Quanto Reagents. These products offer rapid turnaround times and a flexible, total IHC workflow solution. With a proven track record and more than 5,000 units in use, the Autostainer platform is the most widely used open IHC system in the world.
