/ PR Agency: SlickRockWeb Inc.
DENVER, CO - April 17, 2007 - MINES and Associates (minesandassociates.com), a national business psychology firm and provider of EAP, is proud to announce the recent opening of a company run mental health clinic in Las Vegas. Located at 1201 N Decatur Blvd in the city limits of Las Vegas, this clinic allows MINES to better serve its Nevada-based member organizations. The clinic provides psychiatry, psychotherapy and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Bilingual services are also available at the clinic.

Robert A. Mines, Ph.D., the founder and CEO of MINES and Associates, had this to say, "By offering a wide range of clinical expertise, MINES is able to provide an extensive level of multidisciplinary care to our client organizations in Las Vegas. Not only will the employees and members of these organizations have the high quality service they expect from our Health Psych team, they will also have access to top-notch local care."

MINES' newest clinic opened its doors in late December and is already servicing a number of Nevada-based member organizations at this clinic by providing on-site mental health care to participating members and employees. In an effort to provide more regionally based care, MINES and Associates is demonstrating an ability to quickly provide innovative programs and mental health services within a regional context.

Early intervention by MINES in employee or member problems reduces long-term costs by providing savings in the recruitment, training, and retention of employees and by improving employee productivity for the company. By providing local access through this Las Vegas clinic MINES will be ready to quickly provide face-to-face help and head off the common mushrooming effect of an employee-related mental health, substance abuse or workplace problem.

As a national business psychology firm, MINES & Associates provides a variety of services in addition to its EAP such as managed mental healthcare, organizational and cultural improvement, and behavioral risk management. MINES & Associates currently serves a diverse portfolio of clients in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and the UK.
