The Colomb Art Gallery, London and York Fine Arts are proud to announce their participation in this year’s Newcastle Gateshead Art Fair 2011.

For the first time, both galleries will be exhibiting side by side with a superb selection of original paintings and sculpture from established British and international artists.

Artists | The Colomb Art Gallery, London and York Fine Arts represent a formidable selection of established artists including: Pip McGarry, following a record price achieved at Christie's London, Pip McGarry is currently the second highest sold living British wildlife artist at auction; Fredrik K.B, fellow of the Norwegian Sculptors Association and of the Royal British Society of Sculptors; Edward Hersey, taking his inspiration from the Cotswolds and Yorkshire, Hersey’s use of mood and lighting has made him one of the most sought after traditional painters of his generation.

Also confirmed will be original works from Adam Binder, Marie Louise Wrightson, Ewan Macaulay, Gary Walton, Jerry Walton, Elena Kourenkova, Wendy Hunt, Neill Jenkins, John Haskins, Andrew Grant Kurtis and Raymond Campbell.

York Fine Arts is an established north of England fine art gallery and has been based in Yorkshire for over 40 years. The gallery is situated in the heart of York city in an idyllic 14th Century building and only minutes from the York Minster. York Fine Arts deals primarily in traditional paintings and sculpture from recognised British fine artists.

The Newcastle Gateshead Art Fair
Now in its fifth year, The Newcastle Gateshead Art Fair has proven itself as the largest commercial art fair in North East England, showcasing the work of up to fifty galleries from overseas and across the UK. The Fair gives the opportunity to buy work from established and emerging galleries with an extensive range of unique and affordable art works including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, prints and glass.
