Proton Motor exhibits its innovative "PM Cube" at Cologne`s PMR EXPO (10.2/E37)

Puchheim near Munich, November 25, 2019 – The fuel cell expert Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH (www.proton-motor.de) from the Bavarian town of Puchheim near Munich is exhibiting at this year`s PMR EXPO from 26 to 28 November 2019 (boot 10.2/E37) its innovative and safe solutions for emergency power supply. These represent environmentally friendly and efficient alternatives to conventional diesel generators or to extensive battery banks. Since 2015, there has been a successful cooperation between Proton Motor and the Deutsche Bahn subsidiary “Deutsche Bahnbau Gruppe“ for hydrogen fuel cell UPS systems with up to 250 kW. In addition, an agreement with MTSA Technopower B.V. (Arnhem) on container systems for the power range of 500 kW was concluded in the first half of 2019. The 19th international PMR in Cologne has established itself as the leading European trade fair for “secure communication“. The focus topic “CRITIS“ (Critical Infrastructure) has been growing rapidly in recent years and will be discussed in the accompanying conference program with top keynote speakers.

Critical infrastructures are organizations or insititutions of major significance for the state community. These can be sensitive areas of IT/telecommunications and computer centers as well as substations, distribution networks and signal boxes in rail traffic. In the event of impairment or failure, cristical implications could emerge which would lead to sustained supply bottlenecks, considerable disruptions of public safety or other such dramatic consequences. As a manufacturer of emission-free and climate-neutral hydrogen fuel cells with over 20 years of experience, the technology market leader Proton Motor develops UPS complete systems for uninterruptible emergency power supply from 2 kW to 10 MW.
