Atlanta Polish Chamber attends a conference in Seattle highlighting Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Atlanta Polish Chamber had an opportunity to participate in a conference organized by the Polish American Chamber of Commerce Pacific Northwest (PACC Pacific NW) and the Embassy of Poland in Washington, DC. The event took place at the Seattle World Trade Center and focused on the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union and trade opportunities between Poland and the U.S. partners.

The Conference was well attended; the Polish Embassy’s delegation included the Ambassador Robert Kupiecki and Pawel Pietrasienski, Minister Counselor and Head of Trade and Investment Section. Nicole W. Piasecki, Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ vice president of Business Development & Strategic Integration, Daniel Fulton, CEO of Weyerhaeuser , Eric Stewart, President of US-Poland Council; Maciej Chorowski, President of Wroclaw Technology Park; and Adam Januszko, Head of New Technologies Group in Wroclaw were some of the speakers and panelists at the event.

“What are the chances of Boeing Dreamliner making its way to Poland next year (during the EURO2012 Soccer Championships co-hosted by Poland)?”, asked Anna Alford, President of the Atlanta Polish Chamber, during the panel discussion. “We will do everything we can to get the Dreamliner there next summer”, responded Boeing’s Nicole Piasecki. Lot Polish Airlines is the first European airline to receive the modern B787 Dreamliner.
