Flexible and affordable: high-speed database comes as ready-to-run solution

Nuremberg, Germany, August 5, 2011 – EXASolution, the relational high-performance database by EXASOL, is now also available as an appliance: the complete package includes the high-performance EXASolution high-speed database and affordable standard hardware from hardware and service partners such as Dell, HP, IBM, Fujitsu and Netapp. The new EXASolution Data Warehouse Appliance also features services and support. With this new appliance version, the Nuremberg-based database management system specialists enhance their portfolio, consisting of the software appliance and the EXACloud cloud service offer, by another component.

The EXASolution Data Warehouse Appliance is a ready-to-run hardware solution. It is particularly suitable for companies wishing to integrate an out-of-the-box, high-performance database management system into their infrastructure. Connecting the solution to a company’s existing IT system environment takes only a few minutes. The EXASolution Data Warehouse Appliance is characterized by its high flexibility and is available in various versions: depending on the data volume, the analysis requirements or the number of users, companies will deploy the entry, the midrange or the enterprise solution.

With the deployment of EXASolution, EXASOL guarantees high profitability by low in-vestment and cost of ownership. The intelligent software allows for the use of affordable standard hardware.
