First Green Seminar at a Green Globe Certified Hotel in Hong Kong
The public seminar aims to provide useful information for professionals in the Tourism and Hospitality industry and general public to understand the concept and development of green tourism. We are pleased to have our Green Globe Members to share their efforts in moving towards environmentally friendly daily operation. We also invite Dr. Cheung Ting On, Lewis who is the well experienced scholar in the field of sustainable tourism to share his insight in green travelling practices.
“We are very exciting to organize our first Green Seminar in the Green Globe certified hotel. In order to align with the theme of the seminar, organizing such a seminar at a green venue is a must to eliminate the negative impacts to the environment.” said Mr. Steven Cheung CEO of Green Globe Partner (China).
This public seminar will be the first carbon neutral seminar in Hong Kong as all unavoidable carbon dioxide emission will be offset. “We would like to take the initiative to change the practice of organizing a meeting, seminar or conference. Therefore we commit to organize a carbon neutral green seminar to demonstrate to the world and all business leaders that we can do a lot more for our environment. To organize a green seminar or meeting is the first step for an organization to move towards environmentally friendly.” added Mr. Steven Cheung.
