A Packaging Systems has moved for the third time in 2 years

A Packaging Systems, integrator of packaging line equipment, has just completed a move into their new headquarters at 235 Factory Street, La Porte, IN 46350. A Packaging Systems began just over 2 years ago as a supplier of filling machines for the bottled water industry. Today, they provide a complete range of filling and capping equipment, induction sealers, conveyors, labelers, and case packers to many industries.

“This is our third move in a little over 2 years.” said Todd Cannon, President of A Packaging Systems. “We started out in my garage. In 2005, we moved into new offices and opened a separate warehouse. Now, we’re starting in 2006 with offices, warehouse and testing lab all under the same roof. It’s going to help us service and support our customers even more efficiently. I just hope that we have enough room to grow so we don’t have to move again next year.”

Todd added, “In the beginning we were working with small and medium sized companies in the bottled water industry. Today we’re also working with companies in the food, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. While we have many customers who are just getting started, we also work with companies like BASF, 3M, Cardinal Health and Dial Corp. Each customer and every industry has unique needs and we’re going to keep doing whatever necessary to keep up with our customers.”

A Packaging Systems attributes their rapid growth to the focus they have placed on service. They not only assist customers in selection of equipment, they install each machine and work closely with customers to make sure that the equipment is running smoothly.
