Independent Pub Agent Expands into South West

Suffolk based company UK Pub Sales are expanding their business operations to include the sale of licensed premises in the South West of England. The decision follows the success of UK Pub Sales in East Anglia and the Home Counties and is prompted by the high demand of buyers looking to acquire leasehold and freehold public houses and hotels across the South of England.

According to UK Pub Sales’ internal statistics, the number of people registering an interest in buying Public Houses has increased by 65% since January 2011. The figures may be a refreshing read for the many licensed businesses in England weathering the recession.

UK Pub Sales has been established for 23 years, but in 2009 was acquired by business transfer agents Axis Partnerships. Since then, UK Pub Sales has increased its total number of properties for sale by over 90%.

From September 2011, UK Pub Sales operations will include Devon and Cornwall, in addition to their existing territories in East Anglia and the South. The South West area will be managed by experienced UK Pub Sales valuer Bob Boxhall-Hunt.
