Atlantic City Presents Maria Liberati: Food, Wine, Action
For culinary enthusiasts and wine experts, the 2nd Annual Food Network Food and Wine Festival is the event of the year. Hosted by Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City and Food Network, the event will feature some of the most renowned top chefs and TV personalities featured on the Food Network. Launching on Thursday, July 28, the festival will begin with a Food Network Kickoff Party located at the pool of Harrah’s and then continue on until Sunday, July 31. The events will be held across four of Atlantic City’s casinos and resorts—Caesars, Harrah’s Resort, Baily’s, and the Showboat and will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure for Breast Cancer. Expected chefs include Robert Irvine, Guy Fieri, Sunny Anderson, and Maria Liberati who will all be hosting highly anticipated festivities.
Celebrity Chef/Award Winning Author Maria Liberati will be joining many other celebrity chefs in showcasing her culinary expertise and demonstrating recipes from her latest Award Winning Book The Basic Art of Italian Cooking: Holidays & Special Occasions. Last year the book was selected for the prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Award in Paris. The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Maria Liberati tm BLOG has over 100,000 worldwide subscribers.
As a former international supermodel, Maria Liberati has traveled the world experiencing different flavors and tastes, which she includes into her own books as well as charming short stories of her life in the mountains of central Italy. She is considered one of the foremost experts in Italian cuisine, wine, and culture and is continuing to share her knowledge of simple, artisan cooking with the world. Besides her culinary training, Maria brings a dash of her own style to her recipes and books. Starting on Thursday, July 28, the Food and Wine Festival will be continuing the entire weekend.
