Symbius Medical to Sponsor Kyle Witherspoon in Two National Bodybuilding Championship Competitions

Phoenix, AZ (openpr) July 25, 2011 - Symbius Medical,a leading provider in home medical supplies to customers nationwide, is sponsoring light heavyweight bodybuilder and personal trainer Kyle Witherspoon at two national bodybuilding championship competitions in July.

Kyle Witherspoon is a NPC bodybuilder who will be competing in the light heavyweight division at the32nd Annual NPC BodybuildingChampionshipsin Los Angeles, CA, July 23 at theVeteran’s Memorial Auditorium. Kyle placed first in the light heavyweight class in 2009 and will also be participating in the 2011 NPC USA Bodybuilding Championship in Las Vegas being held at the end of July.

Dwight Knox, President of Symbius Medical, met Kyle while he was training at a local gym where he learned Witherspoon was having some sleep disorders. Dwight recommended a sleep study at a local sleep lab to determine if a CPAP device was necessary. A continuous positive airway pressure or CPAP device is a method of respiratory ventilation used primarily in the treatment of sleep apnea.

Following the sleep study, Kyle was diagnosed with sleep apnea and became a client of SymbiusMedical and is now using a S9 Autoset CPAP machine from Resmed. Kyle has found that the device has greatly improved sleep and daily performance as an athlete. “We are very excited to sponsor Kyle at his upcoming championships and wish him all the success these elite programs have to offer,” said Dwight Knox, President. “Kyle has trained extremely hard this year and his passion and dedicated to the sport is inspirational.”
