LifeStyles Furniture liquidating Davenport Iowa store

LifeStyles Furniture a contemporary furniture store located in the Quad Cities is liquidating every single item from its showroom and warehouse through a Retirement / Liquidation Sale. Special invitations for this sale were sent out to past customers on September 26th, 2019 and the sale was made open to the public on October 3rd, 2019. LifeStyles Furniture is located at 4711 N. Brady Street in Davenport Iowa 52806 in the Walnut Center shopping complex.

The business is owned by three family partners; Brian Banks, his sister Vicki Adair and their brother-in-law Ken Lowrie through their company Triunity Interests Corporation DBA LifeStyles Furniture. The three family members purchased the business from previous ownership back in 2006. Two of the family members, Vicki & Ken have decided to retire from this business which will end this family business partnership.

The company is expected to sell through its inventory of in-store floor models and inventory items from its warehouse while accepting and delivering new orders in-store and online. These will be limited to only specific lines of furniture that can be sourced and delivered from its furniture vendors within the timeframe of the sale. In regards to existing special orders Brian Banks President of LifeStyles Furniture had this to say, “All existing special orders will be honored as usual during the sale.” Once the sale has concluded Brian, the remaining owner, is looking to restructure under his own company footprint sometime in early 2020.

The company has provided regular charitable donations to several local non-profit businesses over the years. It has also provided furniture to local television station sets as well as furniture through partnerships with other local area businesses. LifeStyles Furniture has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

LifeStyles Furniture began in 1991 as DayDreams Furniture and was a specialty sleep store located on the old 23rd Avenue in Moline, IL. The store expanded its size and brand offerings over the years into modern contemporary home furnishings and changed its name to LifeStyles Furniture by DayDreams to reflect its new direction. In 2011 the store moved to its current location in Davenport Iowa with an expanded showroom and additional lines of furniture added.
