Hot Cars Take Center Stage at the Annual Summer BBQ & Cruise Night in Long Beach
Friday, July 22nd is the date for the annual Summer Cruise Night & BBQ hosted by Performance Plus Tire.July 19, 2011 – Long Beach – The Annual Summer BBQ & Cruise Night is set to take place on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 5pm to 9pm in Long Beach, CA. Hosted by Performance Plus Tire, Cruise Night gives local car owners the chance to show off their modified cars, trucks, and hot rods. The event features great BBQ , cool cars, and lots of fun. Proceeds from the event will benefit several Long Beach charities.
The big draw is the car competition. Muscle cars, classic trucks, hot rods and low riders will compete for trophies and the opportunity to be featured in the Performance Plus Calendar for 2012. Any modified vehicle is eligible, including originals and customized cars. Prizes and recognition will go to the top five cars.
Friday’s event also kicks off the Great Home Entertainment Giveaway. This is the second year for the Giveaway which includes a top prize of a 3D big screen television as well as other home entertainment equipment. Raffle tickets can be purchased starting on Friday. The actual Giveaway will take place on November 20, 2011 during the 14th Annual Hot Rod Happening & Food Drive.
The Summer Cruise Night & BBQ will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm at 3910 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, CA.
