Only 2 percent of German companies pass the strict criteria: The basic requirement is a creditworthiness index that is better than 249 (best value: 100 – worst value: 600). The CrefoZert is denied if the creditworthiness index exceeds 249.
Far more difficult is the next hurdle. In addition to the credit rating index, current and complete annual financial statements are also audited separately. Here, the completeness of annual financial statements with assets, liabilities, income statement and appendices is of particular importance. The requirements for the award of a CrefoZert are very strict. One of the most important criteria is a Creditreform rating of the balance sheet between CR1 and CR7 (overall scale: CR1 – CR19) or a valid external rating by a recognized rating agency with an investment grade.
The final criterion is a comprehensive qualitative survey conducted by an expert from Creditreform, who also analyzes the current business situation of the company and assesses its future prospects.
