Dusseldorf Smile Days – Amazing Dusseldorf wants your smile
Dusseldorf Smile Days
And many international visitors wonder about the relatively serious expressions extended towards them, whether on the street, in the tram or whilst shopping. Furthermore, German tourists encounter more and more strangers smiling at them whilst on vacation. So why not bring that feeling back home? That's why we are appealing to the folks in Düsseldorf to join in and show that smiling belongs out in the open domain. Smiling is an expression of positive thinking and that helps in almost all situations; at the supermarket, on the bus, on a plane and while walking.
We invite anyone who wishes to join in to smile at five strangers they would otherwise not have smiled at. Take a photo of the returned smile or have your own smile photographed. The winner with the nicest expression will receive two business tickets to a professional american football game with our local team, Rhein Fire. This is in Partnership with Rhein Fire. There will be five "Smile Days" this year, 14 and 28 April, 12 May, 3 and 16 June, all game days of Rhein Fire and entries should be sent by mail by midnight of the respective game day.
