NJWEP Presents Wedding Planning Seminar at "Head-to-Toe Women's Expo"
(Robbinsville, NJ) – NJWEP – Resources & Networking For Event Professionals - will teach a Wedding Planning Seminar at the “Head to Toe Women’s Expo” in Robbinsville on Saturday, May 12, 2007.The seminar, entitled “Creative Wedding Planning,” will cover the basics from the timeline and budget to choosing various vendors. Area professionals will be on hand to encourage creative thinking, personalization of the wedding day and insider tips on working with hired vendors.
“I wish there had been a class like this when I got married almost 7 years ago,” Darcie King, owner of E Video Production and founder of NJWEP said, explaining why she organized the event. “There were so many things I never even thought about that would have really helped my day go much more smoothly.”
According to Kathi Evans, event coordinator for All The Best Weddings & Celebrations, “Education and communication are key to planning the wedding of your dreams. I think it is very important that engaged couples and their families get as much unbiased opinion and education as possible. It’s important to know what you’re looking for before you go looking!”
Guest speakers will help attendees learn various viewpoints on planning their wedding. One speaker is Jessica Laracuente of Plan Your Memories, Inc. “This class will cover everything from favors to décor. But the question that all brides and grooms will always have is, ‘how much is this going to cost?’ Budgeting yourself is essential to every wedding.” Laracuente will help attendees figure out where to start.
“This class won’t just teach the basics,” King said. “We will have fun with the brides-to-be (and grooms-to-be!) and will encourage everyone to be as creative as possible in the short time we have with them. Everyone will go home with an armful of ideas for their special day, informational packets and discounts for area vendors!”
The class will be held at the 1st Annual Head-to-Toe Women’s Expo, Saturday, May 12, at the Robbinsville High School. The expo is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Creative Wedding Planning seminar is at 9:30 a.m. Admission is FREE. Please contact Darcie King (609) 242-3760 for more information.
