icubic AG from Magdeburg acclaims sales record and is planning new jobs

To the annual shareholder’s meeting in the head office in Magdeburg at 29th June 2011 the company management has published the latest economic operating figures. The last year was completed with an overall sale of 8.4 million Euro. “The revenue has more than doubled in the last 4 years thanks to the brilliant work of our employees“, says CEO Andreas Nold.
A further increase in the number of employees is planned this year: icubic is looking for financial mathematics as well as computer specialists, who are well versed with programming languages like Java or C++ and care – among others- for the up-to-date status of the IT-products. There are also new jobs (Software Test Engineer) with immediate effect in the quality teams, who are responsible for the reliability of the banking programs.
Additionally, icubic invests again in its own new generation this year. Three free apprenticeship training positions in computer science are offered. For the first time also a dual study in cooperation with the Otto-von-Guericke-University in Magdeburg is planned. „Who is interested in the worldwide financial business and applies at icubic, set value on an assured future with excellent promotion prospects“, emphasize personnel officer Beatrix Krüger. icubic was founded in 1999 and employs 94 men and women. The company – with headquarters in Magdeburg and two branch offices in Frankfurt/Main and Munich – develops programs for the electronic trading of securities. To the newest customers belong Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB), VTB Bank and ERSTE BANK amongst others. Six of the top ten German financial institutions rely on the know-how of the icubic AG in the meantime.
