The Beautiful Convergence of Nature & Technology--ALT’s Taiwan Aboriginal Plant Zone Impressed 2011 Taiwan LED Light Show

(Jun 22, Taipei) The largest LED light Show in Taiwan—Photonics Festival in Taiwan 2011—has been completed on June 16th. This year, the exhibition has attracted 220 LED exhibitors from domestic and oversea. The number of visitors is over 40,000. The event host, PIDA, says that the number of both exhibitors and visitors this year has been higher than previous years ever. Contrast with previous years, all LED exhibitors has showcased their residential lighting applications, instead of commercial usage. This also means that LED lighting is gradually going to consumer market. Holding the idea of “Saving Energy, Saving Earth” as corporation concept, Aeon Lighting Technology Inc. ALT’s latest Grow Light product has successfully entered Japanese market
To reflect the topic, Living Green, of this exhibition, ALT found a barrel trees (sphaeropteris lepifera), which is the oldest plant species on earth, to represent Taiwan aboriginal plant, and collocated with ALT’s latest Grow Light product to create the real situation of perfect convergence for nature and technology. Based on LED single light source feature, LED Grow Light is able to provide red and blue light wave to accelerate plant photosynthesis, reduce grow time, and boost up the quality and quantity of production. Besides, low power consumption of LED lighting also can save money on electricity bill. The cold light feature of LED lighting can maintain the humidity and water required by grow a plant. Hence, it is a clear trend for all LED lighting manufacturers starting to develop LED Grow Light.
Besides 60w large type Grow Light lighting fixture, ALT also launched A19 and G19 type Grow Light to fit common residential usage. Shorten size also can prevent the difficulty for replacement and be easy to use at residential environment. Therefore, A19/G19 Grow Light became the hottest products during the exhibition. ALT has already successfully entered to Japanese market with new type Grow Light to provide the best selection for modern agriculture.

AR111 and A55 LED bulb are the next main stream for commercial and residential lighting
Street light and outdoor lighting are used to be the main exhibition point for previous LED show. Yet, this year the main exhibition has become residential lighting application. It also shows that the technology of LED lighting is gradually mature, and respectively the price is going down. Therefore, LED lighting is officially entering consumer market. Focusing on home lighting application, ALT has launched the latest commercial and residential LED lighting products—AR111 and A55 LED bulb. With elegant housing design, stable structure system, and CREE and Lumiled chipset as core lighting source, ALT AR111 and A55 become the highlight for the show. Designed according to traditional light fixture, users can easily install ALT AR111 and A55 light bulb without alternation existed light fixture or purchasing new one. ALT AR111 and A55 light bulb is going to mass-product phase around end of July and will surely lead another lighting trend.
