Cayley Barrett Associates, a renowned tristate high-end design-and-build firm, has brought the past and future together in their showcase luxury dressing room at this year's Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Expertly blending antique gems with cutting-edge technology, it's a new breed of dressing room that offers conveniences even the most tech-savvy fashionista will admire. This room, unlike the dressing rooms of yesteryear, features no dressing mirror, but rather a full-length flat screen television, cleverly equipped with tiny cameras, that when activated, displays an HD 'reflection' such that even the most discerning lady will appreciate her 'reflection' from any angle. The mirrors that are installed in the room are far more than an average looking glass: disguised behind the reflective panes is another flat screen TV -- this one with HD cable to keep the lady of the house entertained as she slips her Louboutins on atop the centuries-old, reclaimed French hardwood floor.
