Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky & Abate Shareholder Fred Karlinsky Appointed to Florida State University Foundation Board of Trustees

Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky & Abate Shareholder Fred Karlinsky was appointed to the Florida State University (FSU) Foundation Board of Trustees for a term commencing on July 1, 2011.

An alumnus of the Florida State University College of Law, Mr. Karlinsky serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at FSU and is a member of the College of Law’s Board of Visitors. He and his wife, Autumn, also endowed the Karlinsky Family Scholarship, which provides support to incoming FSU law students. A recent additional contribution will enable the Karlinsky Family to name a conference room in the FSU College of Law Advocacy Center.

FSU Foundation Board members include diverse professionals who are committed to building successful partnerships with the University and its many generous supporters. The Foundation is governed by an elected Board of Trustees, whose members act as advocates for the University, its colleges, programs and units.

Mr. Karlinsky leads Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky & Abate’s Insurance Regulatory and Governmental Consulting Divisions. He serves as Florida Counsel to the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, General Counsel and Chief Lobbyist for the Florida Property & Casualty Association and Counsel for a number of other insurance carriers and interests. He was recently admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
