Advantech Design-in Forum in Tel-Aviv on June 29th to Focus on Accelerating Video, Voice, and Data Network Platform Evolution

Over 150 designers, applications engineers, industry experts, executives, and hardware and software partners to come together for an intensive day of learning and networking


Tel Aviv, Israel, June 24, 2011–Advantech (TWSE: 2395.TW), a global manufacturer of telecom computing blades, multi-core network processor platforms, and embedded DSP products, will hold its inaugural ADF Israel event at the Kfar Maccabiah hotel in Ramat Gan on June 29th.

The theme for the ADF Israel program is “Accelerating Video, Voice, and Data Network Platform Evolution.” Advantech will emphasize not only its own leading technologies and products that help embedded developers differentiate their designs, but also the comprehensive, market-focused spectrum of enablement solutions and ecosystem partnerships needed to help developers innovate and accelerate their time-to-market.
The forum will open with a keynote speech from market analyst Simon Stanley, who will present his analysis of the AdvancedTCA architecture and its rising success in the telecom market along with new opportunities it is creating in enterprise, networking, and adjacent markets.
The morning plenary session will host presentations from Advantech, Freescale, Intel™ and TIand focus on the latest technology trends in network security, video broadcasting and coding, and the communications infrastructure. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in either of two afternoon tracks: one dedicated to ATCA system integration, AMCs, 40G NPUs and switches, HA middleware and multi-core software for network acceleration. The other track will be devoted to developing digital signal processing applications in a broader set of markets including telecom, video infrastructure and medical, as well as military and radar. Technology experts from around the world from ENEA, Interphase, Ittiam, Telco Systems, TI and Wind River will be presenting, along with key Advantech designers, architects, and support staff.
An exhibition section hosted by Advantech and its ecosystem partnerswill demonstrate a broad range of multi-core blade, platform, and DSP solutions, along withleading-edge enabling software at each of its annual Advantech Embedded Design-In Forums including Tel Aviv on June 29th, Seoul on July 12th, and Beijing on September 27th.
