Coex Food Week 2019 in Seoul Korea: 2019 Expo Showcases Global Food Tech, Packaging, Local Ingredients

Korea’s leading food expo also offers incentives for overseas exhibitors and buyers from Nov. 20-23

Coex Food Week 2019 – previously known as Korea Food Week – is expected to draw more than 60,000 local and international buyers over 4 days from November 20th to 23rd 2019, at Coex in Seoul.

Since its launch in 2006, Coex Food Week has grown to become Korea’s leading trade show for the global food and beverage industry, welcoming a large number of business participants wishing to explore trade opportunities and industry trends. In 2018, Coex Food Week saw participation from 846 exhibitors across 1717 booths, and more than 40,000 local and overseas buyers and visitors.

Application for the 2019 expo is now open for exhibitors. Overseas exhibitors may exhibit independently, or form a ‘National Pavilion’ with other businesses from their country to receive special incentives and rates.

Core themes for the 2019 edition of Coex Food Week include food tech, food packaging, local ingredients, health ingredients, farmed foods, and baked goods. The exhibition will spread across all four of Coex’s exhibition halls, with provincial items and international pavilions in Hall A, HMR and packaging products in Hall B, the Seoul International Bakery Show in Hall C, and a beer festival and live cooking show Sweet on Air in Hall D. The expo also includes concurrent seminars and workshops, and biz-matching meetings, for an unparalleled trade show experience.

The Seoul International Bakery Festival, or SIBA, in Hall C, is Korea’s largest biannual expo for the industry, and includes the 4th edition of live, international baking contest Top Patisserie Asia. Business from more than 10 countries worldwide have already confirmed their participation.

Incentives for buyers attending Coex Food Week in 2019 include 3 nights of complimentary accommodation, interpretation service, participation in pre-organized biz-matching sessions, and a buyers’ kit.
