New York (June 21, 2011) – The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Partners Richard S. Green and Gaye White to the Firm’s New York office. Green has joined the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, and White has rejoined the Firm’s Oil and Gas Practice Group after serving as Vice President & Senior Counsel of USA Compression Partners, LLC, a Texas-based gas compression company.

“We are delighted to welcome these talented attorneys to our New York office,” says Philip J. Kessler, Thompson & Knight’s New York Office Leader. “Dick’s corporate and infrastructure experience will be a tremendous asset to our clients, and Gaye’s energy industry expertise will further strengthen the Firm’s capabilities in this growing oil and gas market.”

Green focuses his practice on corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private and public debt and equity financings, contests for corporate control, “going private” transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, the formation and termination of partnerships, and restructuring financially troubled companies. He also has particular expertise in merger and acquisition transactions involving businesses in the infrastructure sector, including public utilities, engineering and infrastructure-oriented services firms, construction companies, and construction materials businesses, as well as in the development and sale of infrastructure projects, including public-private partnerships.
