In Time Of Sorrow founder published in new "Open to Hope" book

Mary Zemites, MA, founder of InTimeOfSorrow.com, offers advice for those grieving the loss of a loved one in the new book released June 13, Open to Hope: Inspirational Stories of Healing After Loss. The book includes not only Ms. Zemites' guidance, but also the knowledge and insight from close to 100 nationally recognized experts in the field of grief and loss. Readers will find validation whatever loss they are experiencing and however they are coping with their grief.

Zemites' two articles include "Mustering the Courage to Face Our Fears" and "The Healing Power of Forgiveness". The first article discusses the fear associated with the anticipated death of her husband in 1992, while the second concerns the reconciliation with loss that results from the act of forgiveness.

Mary's husband, Gregory, died from colon cancer at the age of 41. At that time their children were aged 10, 9 and 4 years old. She has been a trained bereavement facilitator for over twelve years. Zemites founded the In Time Of Sorrow website in 2009. She publishes a monthly newsletter on the grieving process. These articles were originally written for these newsletters.
