TYPO3 Videos for Editors in New Version 4.5

The popular series of video tutorials for editors on TYPO3 version 4 was now supplemented by two new videos in the current version 4.5 by a7digital Arend, a German company specialized in internet services based in the Rhine-Main area. One of the new videos presents the differences of the current TYPO3 version 4.5 in comparison to version 4.2, which is shown in the video series. Additionally, a7digital has produced the 4 Minutes Introduction newly in version 4.5. With that, the video tutorials for the well-known content management system TYPO3 on the official web site typo3.org (http://typo3.org/documentation/videos/) remain up-to-date and can be used continuously to the full extent even when people are working with a new version of TYPO3.

By producing these new videos in TYPO3 4.5, the company reacts to the release of the current version 4.5 LTS at the beginning of the year 2011, which is a so called long term support version that will be maintained for the next three years, at least. In contrast, the series of video tutorials for editors shows TYPO3 in version 4.2, which is not being supported anymore by now. But the TYPO3 versions 4.2 and 4.5 differ for editors in default mainly in their views, the basic functions remained widely the same. This is proven by the new videos as well, as they show changes in the page tree, in page properties, in content elements, the file list, and so on.
