Boutique Agency, Visionista Wins Five 2011 Videographer Awards

Videographer Awards recognize excellence in video, production and communication.

WASHINGTON – June 7, 2011 – Visionista (visionista.tv), a rapidly growing, women-owned marketing and communications agency, has won five Videographer Awards in the 2011 competition. Honors include two Awards of Excellence for Creativity/Art Direction and Creativity/Directing, and three Awards of Distinction for Creativity/Humor, Video for the Web/Web Video, and Marketing (Service). As a young, fast-growing agency, this is the first year Visionista has been recognized.

Combining innovative storytelling with compelling videography, Visionista crafted multiple videos for their client, TIAA-CREF Financial Services. Modern, socially responsible investment strategies meet enduring performance at TIAA-CREF. Visionista has successfully told their financial story through a Brand Spirit video that enhanced employee pride and lead generation, two environmental case studies that depict the hands-on talent involved with portfolio management, and a department overview video that illustrates the collaboration and dedication that helps TIAA-CREF flourish in an ever-challenging industry.

Videographer Awards of Excellence were awarded to projects deemed written, produced, shot and edited in an exceptional manner. Awards of Distinction were awarded to projects that exceeded industry standards. Of 1,800 entries, only 14 percent of entries received Awards of Excellence or Awards of Distinction.

The Videographer Awards is judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. “Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry,” a statement from the Videographer Awards explains.
