Press release from: medepage

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia – June 8, 2011 – Medepage breathes new life into the healthcare sector jobs market with the release of their healthcare community website.

MEDEPAGE announced today that their healthcare community and jobs search website medepage.com, will be released and open to Members and Clients on Monday 8th June 2011.

This ushers in a new era for the online healthcare sector because it brings a more interactive approach to an otherwise traditional environment. Now it’s possible to search for jobs, connect, communicate and share information with friends, colleagues and healthcare organisations. MedePage has adopted an holistic, revolutionary approach of bringing a global healthcare community together in one website. They believe that the low transaction cost of working online, together with all the connectivity benefits will have the effect of reducing costs and providing a free flow of information and job opportunities.

Co-founder and managing director Tony Bullock-Formosa, said “Medepage is a new concept for a healthcare website in that it combines social media style features wrapped up in a jobs board framework. This is a world first for the Australian company that will enable healthcare professionals all over the world to connect, exchange information and search for jobs”.

When asked to describe Medepage he said “Medepage is a global networking, job search and information sharing community website, for the whole of the healthcare sector. We want everyone who works in a healthcare environment to be part of the Medepage community. Likewise, healthcare organisations can post any healthcare related job and connect with potential employees”.

Best of all, the Medepage website is 100% free to healthcare professionals and is currently free, to all healthcare organisations and HR consultancies, to post jobs. Medepage wanted to assure everyone that although they will introduce an annual fee for posting jobs at a future date, their philanthropic approach would mean it will be set at a nominal rate and will include unlimited job posts.

Medepage is owned and run by healthcare professionals, with a unique insight into our industry and community. The principals Tony & Bev Bullock-Formosa have many years experience running a very successful healthcare personnel business (PRN Nurses). Their co-founder and IT guru also has many years experience as a healthcare IT Manager.

Medepage is a global networking, job search and information sharing community website, for the whole of the healthcare sector. We want everyone who works in a healthcare environment to be part of the Medepage community.
