Christian Bäumer took over the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Coloyal GmbH in mid-April. In doing so, Bäumer is not only responsible for the financial apparatus and IT of the company, but also oversees the strategy development and restructuring of the company following the management buyout of Bertelsmann subsidiary Arvato Rewards.

After studying business administration in Münster and Utrecht, Christian Bäumer began his career in 1991 as a controller at the packaging material manufacturer Bischof + Klein GmbH & Co. KG in Westphalia. Since then, Bäumer has worked as a commercial director at various well-known companies in Germany. Above all, Hubert Burda Media, for whom Bäumer was responsible for commercial management in various group subsidiaries from 2002 to 2013.

Bäumer spent several years in Berlin, where he worked as CFO for Producto AG (testberichte.de). He comes from Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag GmbH where he joined in 2017 as commercial director and member of the management board. His responsibilities included finance, IT and online services. This allows Bäumer to draw on many years of startup, SME and group experience in the areas of finance, IT and digitization as well as scale-up and restructuring.
