Seattle Artists Celebrate New Online Store at Yarn-Breaking Event
Lindsay and Rob at the Apple Yarn Over Yarn-Breaking Party - May 21, 2011
Apple Yarn Over, consisting of Seattle residents Lindsay Nessel and Robert Gilliam, got their start at Punk Rock Flea Market last December. The twice-a-year event brings together dozens of the most innovative local artisans and raises money for the Low Income Housing Institute. "We were so successful and received so much positive feedback, we decided to open an online store to complement our on-site sales," said Nessel.
The next Punk Rock Flea Market is Saturday, June 4, and Apple Yarn Over will be there selling new products at discounted prices. Punk Rock Flea Market is at the Belltown Underground Events Center at 2407 1st Ave. The event lasts from 10 AM to 8 PM and costs one dollar.

We're always traveling to yard sales, thrift stores, and granny's attic in search of the highest quality vintage fabric, buttons, and other doo-dads to use in our products.
