Press release from: S:CRAFT

Hampshire, United Kingdom (11 May, 2011) - S:CRAFT, leading provider of custom-made window shutters and window blinds, have announced the launch of their new hygienic shutters and blinds, which are available through their network of retailers now.

S:CRAFT are a wooden shutter manufacturer who specialise in creating hand crafted shutters which can be beautifully incorporated into any domestic or commercial setting. S:CRAFT's shutters and window blinds can complement any modern or traditionally styled home, and their range of window shutters and blinds are incredibly functional and reliable.

S:CRAFT have recently announced the launch of their new hygienic shutters and blinds which are ideal for a variety of organisations, including hospitals, care homes, surgeries and nurseries. S:CRAFT's new hygienic shutters are the first wood lacquer of their kind available in the UK that kill most species of bacteria, such as MRSA, salmonella and E.Coli, and will continue killing them during the lacquer's lifetime - typically as long as ten years. This lacquer is regularly used in many NHS hospitals and can prevent bacteria accessing nutrients which force them to starve and die. S:CRAFT's new hygienic shutters have been approved by the FDA, HSE EPA and they are also BS6250 certified.

Peter Stark, Marketing Manager of S:CRAFT, commented: "We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new hygienic shutters which are available now through our network of retailers. Our new shutters have a kill rate of 99.9% over a 24 hour period and work against bacteria such as escherichia coli, salmonella enderiditis, aspergillus niger and penicillium purpurogenum. Our hygienic shutters are available for a variety of industries and are a great step towards creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment."
