Press release from: ClickCon

Chicago, IL - Chicagoland is priming up to welcome ClickCon to the city, a revolutionary conference model designed for photographers, videographers, hair artists, makeup artists and models alike. Set to be held at the historic Michigan Avenue Chicago Hilton August 5th through the 7th, this PROCAM sponsored event is the first conference of it’s kind in the Chicagoland area.

Unlike traditional conferences, ClickCon offers photographers and videographers extensive workshops, a networking focused exposition, as well as hands-on experience with new technologies and Chicago’s best models to build their portfolios over the three-day event.

ClickCon has partnered with the Hilton to offer specialty classes, such as underwater portraiture taught in the hotel pool, and a Great Gatsby themed styled shoot utilizing the hotels historic decor. Additional Chicago-centric locations across the city will be featured as part of the ClickCon Max excursion program. Attendees can also expect special amenities such as an equipment loaner program courtesy of PROCAM, a special VIP area to talk one-on-one with speakers and educators, extreme equipment discounts and themed-shooting bays for on-the-spot portfolio building.

“Conferences are changing, and we are seeing a newer generation of artists that no longer want to sit in a classroom. They want an experience,” says ClickCon co-founder Sherry Hagerman. “We are providing them with the most ultimate photography and videography experience that has ever been created.”

The three-day conference is also to include a extraordinary opportunity for Chicagoland newly engaged couples. Dubbed “Race To The Rings,” ClickCon will be sponsoring an Amazing Race-style competition to help one lucky pair win their dream wedding. Submissions for Race to the Rings will be launching through the conference website. One lucky winner will have all expenses paid for a lavish wedding at the iconic Hilton Hotel on Michigan Ave, worth over $50,000. Everything from food and entertainment to wedding dress and decor will be taken care of, compliments of ClickCon and their partners. The couple will also receive wedding photography from the renowned Jerry Ghionis.

ClickCon’s philanthropy does not stop there. The conference has chosen Chicagoland nonprofit Watts of Love to be a beneficiary of the conference. Watts of Love is a global solar lighting nonprofit committed to empowering the poorest of the poor in the darkest regions of the world by providing sustainable solar lighting.

“We at ClickCon are all about lifting up our community through the use of education. By doing so helps elevate the level of photographers from around the globe,” states the ClickCon team. “Watts of Love is lifting up communities through the use of light. This helps extend hours in a safer manner to work longer providing for families.”

With 2019 being its inaugural year, ClickCon is the creation of a group of photography professionals who saw a great need for a new type of immersive learning experience for photographers and videographers of all levels.

Main sponsor and co-founder PROCAM is a family-owned and operated business, operating in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. PROCAM offers a complete selection of the latest photo and video cameras and accessories, as well as offering equipment rentals, studio space, classes, training, workshops, and more.

Co-founder Sherry Hagerman is a photographer, mentor and owner of Allusion Photography. Sherry has won several awards in her industry including, “Best in the Midwest” for the past 11 years, “Best Wedding Studio in the United States” for the past 3 years, one of the Top 6 Wedding Photographers in the United States and recently ranked number 6 in the World.
